Templates
Templates are web pages, which are incomplete because they have no content. They can be imported from an existing web page or created from scratch. Different parts of the template, called regions, can be filled with eCrowds assets such as menus or blocks. Regions are defined between two percent signs. %%header%% would define a region named header. The beauty of using templates is that a web site can be built very quickly, and it will have a uniform look and feel throughout all the pages.
Note: When importing content from a URL (for creation of a "Custom" template), the source of the page is copied directly into the content text field. External files will function perfectly well, but it is recommended to integrate all your site's assets into eCrowds. All links, images, files, stylesheets, or javascripts should be imported as a File.
