Part 1: Share Ideas and Feedback with an Idea Exchange

Now that you have a basic understanding of the site features that come with eCrowds, in this session we will cover eliciting feedback and input from your community via idea exchanges. An idea exchange is a social media feature that provides a way for your users to easily share ideas, and then rate, vote, and comment on them. This tool is included in eCrowds by default and is useful in facilitating discussion among your users. Additionally, you can use the community wisdom gained through this means to better serve your constituents by really honing in on what they want as consumers.

To create a new idea in the idea exchange:

From your live site, log in by clicking the "Sign in" link in the upper right hand corner.
Click on "Idea Exchange"
Click "Post new idea"
Fill in the idea name and description.
Click "Create idea" to submit your new idea.
Now, as you can see, your idea is available on your live site, and ready to comment on!
