Using/Applying Searches
*Note - Searches in eCrowds can be applied at the Template, Content Type, Form, and Site levels. If plugged into a template as a region assignment, for example, the regions that appear in the template are added into the template's HTML "Content" field and subsequently replicated in the template itself.
To apply a search to a particular region of the template:
- Navigate to the template region you would like to add a new search assignment to
- Click "Add new assignment"
- Select the appropriate item type; in this case, "search" from the first dropdown.
- Select the appropriate search to use in this region from the second dropdown.
Deleting a Search
- Click on "Content" in the left navigation
- Under "Modules," select "Searches"
- Once in the Search interface, navigate to the search you wish to delete, and click "Delete" under "Actions" on the far right.
- When prompted with "Are you sure?" click OK.
