Menus provide an easy way to create navigation links dynamically. Menus can be created based on taxonomy, users, content type, module, or even a custom list of pages. Since menus are so diverse, they can easily be used for many tasks on a website.

Menu Types:

  • Requesting Object - Typically a page
  • Tags - Lists all the tags associated with the object
  • Backlinks - Lists all the objects that have a link to the current object
  • Tag Cloud - Displays the tags for the object, tag size is proportional to the number of users who have tagged the object with the same word
  • Content Type - Lists assets with the selected content type
  • Module - Lists assets of the selected module (Comments, Discussions, Files, Forums, Ideas, Pages, XML Feeds)
  • Selected Objects - Lists specifically selected objects like pages, forums, and ideas
