Ideas/Idea Exchanges

With the eCrowds Idea Exchange, your community members are able to share ideas and elicit comments and votes on these ideas from other users.

Creating an Idea Exchange:

To create a new idea exchange:

1. Click on "Community" in the left navigation
2. Under "Modules," select "Ideas"
3. Once in the Ideas interface, click "Create new idea exchange"
4. Fill in the idea exchange name, description, available idea statuses, a desired  limit on the number of idea categories for pagination, idea sort method, taxonomy categories, and tags.
5. Click "Create idea exchange" to submit.

Editing Ideas/Idea Exchanges:

1. Click on "Community" in the left navigation
2. Under "Modules," select "Ideas"
3. Once in the Ideas interface, navigate to the idea exchange you would like to edit, click "Edit" and under "Actions" on the far right.
4. Once in the edit window, make any changes necessary, including updating the idea exchange name, description, available idea statuses, a desired  limit on the number of idea categories for pagination, idea sort method, taxonomy categories, and tags.
5. Click "Save idea exchange."
